Who this is for
PupBoy is for adults in the pup play community — pups, handlers, switches, and the friends, partners and curious people around them. Every role, every body, every experience level. You must be 18 or older to be here, full stop.
It's a place to find your pack, meet people nearby, plan a mosh, share gear, and talk. Treat it like the room at an event: be friendly, be honest, and don't be the reason someone has a bad night.
The short version
Respect and consent
- Ask before sending explicit photos or messages. "Can I send you something?" is the whole rule. Unsolicited nudes are harassment here, and reported ones get acted on.
- "No" ends the conversation. Don't argue, negotiate, or keep messaging someone who's stopped replying.
- Respect roles and limits. Someone being a pup doesn't mean they're yours to command. Someone being a handler doesn't mean they're in charge of you. Everything is negotiated.
- No pressure to meet, play, or share. Pack activities are invitations, not obligations.
Be who you say you are
- Profile and album photos must be of you. No stock photos, no other people's photos, no AI-generated faces.
- One account per person. If you're banned, making a new account is also a ban.
- Your display name and bio are yours to make playful — but don't impersonate a real person, a pack, an event, or PupBoy staff.
- Be honest about your health status fields, or leave them blank. Nobody is required to fill them in.
Everyone belongs here
The pup community is one of the most welcoming corners of the leather and kink world. PupBoy is going to stay that way. We remove content and, if needed, people for:
- Racism, including "preferences" phrased as exclusions, racial fetishisation, or slurs.
- Body shaming, fat shaming, age shaming, femme shaming, or ability shaming.
- Transphobia, misgendering, or policing anyone's identity. Trans pups and handlers are pups and handlers.
- HIV stigma. Someone's status is theirs to share; it's never yours to mock, out, or use as a weapon.
- Hate symbols, hate speech, or "jokes" that are any of the above.
Safety and the law
- Nobody under 18, in any photo, in any conversation, ever. Suspected minors are removed immediately and reported where the law requires.
- No selling or buying sex, and no advertising it. No escort profiles, no "generous" language, no rates.
- No drug sales or sourcing, and no drug-fuelled play advertised in profiles. Talking about harm reduction is welcome; dealing is not.
- No threats, no weapons, no violence — real or "just kidding."
- No doxxing or outing. Don't share anyone's legal name, workplace, address, screenshots of private chats, or the fact that they're on PupBoy. Some people here aren't out. That's their call, not yours.
- No spam, scams, crypto pitches, MLM, or links to other apps in profiles or unsolicited in chat.
Photos
Photos have their own page: the Photo Policy. The one-line version: public photos stay non-explicit, nudity lives in your private album and in chat between consenting adults, and explicit sexual activity isn't allowed anywhere. A public photo that crosses the line gets moved to your private album, not deleted.
Events
- Only post events you're actually running or have permission to promote.
- Say clearly if an event is 18+ (it should be), whether gear is required, and whether it's a social or a play space.
- Everything on this page applies at the event too. Organisers are expected to have a way to handle problems on the night.
Reporting and blocking
- Report is at the bottom of every profile. Pick the closest reason and add anything useful. Reports go to a person, and reporters are never revealed.
- Block is right next to it. Blocking hides you from each other everywhere in the app — map, nearby, chat, albums — in both directions, instantly.
- If you're in danger, contact local emergency services first. The Safety tab has resources and a one-tap emergency call.
What happens when someone breaks the rules
- Warning. For a first, minor issue: the content is removed and you're told why.
- Suspension. A second issue, or a first serious one: the account is paused for a period and you're told why.
- Ban. Repeat behaviour, or anything from the list below: the account is closed and cannot be reopened.
Immediate ban, no warning: anything involving minors; non-consensual images; selling sex or drugs; threats or violence; doxxing or outing; catfishing; ban evasion; hate speech.
Think a decision was wrong? Email packleader@pupboy.com from the address on your account. A person will look again, usually within two days.
Looking after yourself
- Meet somewhere public the first time, and tell a friend where you're going.
- You can hide your distance in Profile so people only see that you're "around," not how close.
- Your private album can be shared and un-shared per person. Revoking access is instant.
- Trust your gut. If something feels off, block and move on. You don't need a reason.
